My...Good luck on your goals, I KNOW you can do it!

My BFF, Sondra, has been out of tri training with a hamstring injury for nearly 3 months now. She was terrified about gaining weight b/c she wouldn't be training, so she really took a look at her diet and adjusted it. Chica has LOST 10 pounds and looks FABULOUS!

A snippet:
*Whole grain pasta has been replaced with quinoa stir-fried in olive oil and garlic.
*lots of fish, chicken, beans/legumes
*Eats only clean foods, nothing from a box at all.
*Fruits, veggies, eggs
*Protein shakes are often her dinner. She eats her larger meal during the day.
*Lots of water to fill up with

We've talked about 'how' it's going to be when she resumes training (needing the extra calories), but the answer is really simple... an extra helping of what she's already been eating.

I've got about 5 to 7 pounds I would like GONE. I know I could get rid of it by following what she is doing (b/c there is not 'DIET' to follow; it's just healthy, clean eating).

ANyway, just wanted to throw that option out there for you as well. I think there are quite a few books out there about eating 'clean' that you could reference.

HUGS to you!Sherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02082457871394785441noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-678893393374053511.post-75910276993839090312009-10-19T17:13:25.805-07:002009-10-19T17:13:25.805-07:00I'm super carb sensitive too. Personally I been trying to lose 10 punds for about 2 months and its been a pain. My clothes are looser as well, it might be muscle gain from all the training. Body fat is down, just cant get the last pounds off, now that the season is over, like you, i can concentrate at it.Big Daddy Dieselhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07868041775049514011noreply@blogger.com
